Abstract

A newly-published first comprehensive inventory of montane RSFs in the Southern Carpathians identifies 215 cases affecting almost 150 km2 - about 1.3% of range extent above 600 m asl. The large majority are slope deformations, but rockslides and rock avalanches have significant impacts. In a marginally-glaciated range, it is important to recognize.
